• Google Calendar data: calendars, events (title, time, location, description, and so on), attendees, and meeting details
• Contacts: names, email addresses, and phone numbers that Google makes available, used to suggest attendees
• Authentication information: access tokens and refresh tokens needed to connect to Google
• Technical information: device and browser details, IP address, error logs, and the language setting cookie

• To display your calendars and sync changes with Google Calendar
• To send meeting notifications in the desktop app
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure
• To investigate failures and improve the Service
• To respond to your inquiries

3. Google user data

Horono’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features of the Service that you use. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models. People cannot read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or when required by law.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law. We entrust data to the following service providers to the extent needed to run the Service:

• Google LLC (sign-in, and calendar and contact APIs)
• Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry: error monitoring)
• Cloud providers that host our servers and databases

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account exists. When you delete your account from the settings screen, we delete your account, the data synced from Google, and your authentication tokens without delay. You can also revoke Horono’s access at any time from your Google account’s security settings.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect your information from leaks, loss, and unauthorized access.

7. Cookies

This website uses a cookie to remember your language choice. The app uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in. We do not use cookies for advertising.
